Hooray for summer!

It have almost been a month of summer and it sure has gone by fast. I feel like I just got here. Everything is going really great and I have been up to a lot of fun things. I love it here so much.

This summer I'm doing the same job I did last year of pretty much being a janitor, but it is a good job and I enjoy it most of the time.

It was a really hard spring winter spring here and the snow is just starting to really melt. It is like we are three weeks behind in spring. The elk, moose and Buffalo are just starting to have their babies and the there also has been a lot of bears out with their cubs. There has been the grizzle bear around Colter bay called 399 who is kind of famous in this area. But anyway she has 3 cubs this year and the other day she was pretty much in my backyard! I did not get a really good look at her because she was in the trees, but it still was really cool!

And of course be run lots and lots. Daniel has really made me and awesome training plan for this summer. If I stick to what he has line out for me I will have an really awesome cross country season. I ran a race Saturday and I got second over all! There was one boy who beat me. My time was 42:32. Witch is a good time for right now. I am excited to do more race this summer and see my time go down. It really is a lot of fun racing and I won a whole bunch of cool prizes!

This summer I have also got more in to rock climbing. I have always wanted to be good at rock climbing, but never really have taken the step to do so. So this year I told my self if you want to do it this is the time to do, not letter. Rock climbing is a lot like running and that is way I think I like it so much. It is hard and takes some time to be good at it, but I can see my self getting better and better at it. It is also loads of fun. (and sorry Casey but I love to boulder:) I know how you hate that ha ha!)

Well I will try and post some more things this summer, because it is kind of hard for me to call. Cell serves is terrible, I will try and call everyone more offten, because I love you all very much and I just have the best family ever!

Ok last week me, Daniel, Mary, Blom, and Joel went to this diamond X park (This really fun park about 10miles outside billings) and went hiking around and rock climbing. I was a really fun day we just ran around the mountain like a bunch of wild dogs. I got some really good friends and we seem to always have a lot of fun.

Spring Break

Coming up on Spring Break I did not have any thing planned out to do and thought it was going to be a long boring week. But it turned out to be really fun. One of the days Me and Dan made a day trip to Yellowstone. We saw more animals then I expected too and went to the boiling river.

End of Indoor

So Indoor ended last week I ran in the DMR and we got 5th. It was a pretty good race for the team. Then I ran the mile and got 5th again run a 5:17. Next after that I ran the 5000 and got 5th. My time was 18:38.
These where are my personal best so I was not completely disappointed with how the week end turn out, but definitely did not fill satisfied with my performance. It was still a fun trip and always happy to improve.

Back at school. So I really think this semester is going to be great. I'm in some very interesting classes most of them are senior level classes so lots more work, but the work content is better.
So indoor is really going now. I had a meet this weekend and ran the 800 and 3000. I ran very well in both winning both. I still fished the race feeling like I could have done more. I want to run sub 5 in the mile so bad!!! I obsess over it probably too much or just very driven. If I don't not do it indoors for sure in outdoors! When I first came to school and was doing track on the side of volleyball I had no idea how much it would become apart of my life. I love it and I'm very glad I have it. If I was just going to school I think I would go crazy!!
So if you don't know I really like to cook. I'm try to become as good as grandma ... if that is possible:) But me and my friend we like to get together maybe a lest every other week and do and international meal (most of the time some thing none of use have made before). We made Pierogies before Christmas. They where awesome! The day before school started we did an Ethiopian food night. It was very tasty too. I think we want to try tamales next. It is a lot of fun trying this recipes.
Daniel and Blom (one of my really good friends on the track team, no his really name is not blom but Ryan ha ha) they have always loved photography and video but recently they both have percussed really nice pro cameras. They take pictures at all the track meets(a long with blom's Dad) so if you are interested in looking at them here is Blom's flicker account:

Well in to Cross Country now and loving it!!!
I have ran 2 races and done well in both. My first cross country meet was in Bozeman (and MOM and HEIDI came woot, it was so so good to see them) But i was the fastest girl on the team and ran a 18:52. This Friday we where in Dickinson and I took first out of the whole thing, but did not run a very good time. Been sick this last week and still trying to get over it. We go to Boulder Colorado this week Very excited for that.
I all so ran the 1/2 marathon last sunday. This is the running I was most happy with... but backing up a little bit. I have been training for this 1/2 marathon all summer and really look forward to it. But i got 4th out of the woman and ran a time of 1:30.52. I was so happy with this time. Running sub 7 min pace.(meaning every mile was under 7 min.)
Well that is my life run run run and I love it:)

So some big new..... I am doing cross country!! .... so volleyball really was not working out for me and really do not love it any more, so i switched to something I do love and will be so much better cross country. It was hard to let volleyball go, but I know it was the right decision. I have my first meet saturday ahh! Utah State and UVU will be there. I am very very excited!

The Tetons!

My family I know.... I know I have not Blog in a long long time! And many new and exciting things have happened. I went to Ethiopia which was life changing. Spent the summer in the Tentons BEST summer job ever!

So this is a little bit of and up date.

Working in the Tetons this summer was a dream come true. I LOve it there so much and miss it a lot.
But I am back in billings now and have been here all most 2 weeks now. Playing Volleyball all day. Volleyball has been good a little challenging I am really going to have to fight for my spot. I guess it will make a stronger person in the end. We leave to Hawaii in 3 days yay. We will be there for 13 day... missing 4 days of school Ahhhh. It will be ok. WEll I really miss everyone and Love you!

Life is moving so fast. I think a little to fast. I all ways feel rushed. Volleyball has ended now. Approximately 37.5 hours from right now and Track started 5 hours ago at 7:07 this morning! I'm really excited to start track. Time to see what I can do. I feel like I didn't come close to my potential last season. Time to go to yoga my most favorite class ever. Family I get to come home for Thanksgiving!!! Yay... I'm so so glad that i get to come home for Thanksgiving. I was really getting worried that i would not be able too! Because i have been getting family sick lately. I think it is because when i talk to every one on the phone it is just crazy!! Taylie knows her ABC's... Miquelle is having a baby... Mady writes stories!!! Oh my gosh... I just miss you all!!! And LOVE YOu!

Ok to all the happenings. Volleyball is great we are in a really good spot to win the conference. If we keep our heads! Me personally I'm kind of tired of volleyball, but i just think that is because we have not had a game in a week. But we have three home games this week.. woot... busy busy. I all so got hired to the Disability Support Center here on camps. Which makes me more busy, but i love it there. The ladies are so so nice that work there and it is a good job.Every thing is just going really good... busy but good. I miss and LOVE YOU ALL.....

So we are back from your first games in Hawaii yay!!!! It was so much fun and we did really good. Our first game we won. Great way to start off the year! MSUB has never beat Hawaii Pacific we were the first!!! Game 2 was with BYU Hawaii and we lost, but just by a few points. The game was there to take and we just didn't take it. I got me care best on digs though... 24 woohoo! Game 3 was with Hilo and lets just say the can put the ball down. They where really good and crushed us:( but it is all good moving on. Game 4 was with Somona or how ever you spell it.... and we had a slow start but then battled back and won it!!! It was a way good game. Coach gave me a complement with usually does not happen... so yay! The volleyball was way fun... but Hawaii was way fun too. I got to see sea turtles, angle fish, go to Pearl harbor, and tons of other things. I was a good time. We have games this week too, so i will let you know how they go. LOVE YOU ALL...

Back in Billings

Hey everyone!! So I'm back in billings at school. I have been here all most a week now. It has been so so much fun. We got a new coach this year and every thing is different! Which is a very good thing. So he has only been my coach for 5 days, but I like him a lot. He really knows his stuff and does a good job of improving your skills. We are a whole new team!! It is so much fun. Really hard work, but so much fun. We are doing 3 a DAYS... Morning... Afternoon... and Night. So from 8 in the morning tell 9 at night I'm doing volleyball, but right now i would not have it any other way. I believe that we are going to have a really good season. Our first games are at the end of August... so a ways a way, but they are in Hawaii!! Can't wait it will be lots of fun! I miss every one and hope every things is going good. I LOVE YOU ALL!

I was talk to Mom on the phone yesterday and then i just looked at my self and realized what i was wearing. It really fun because i dress like this a lot when i pretty am much working out all day. It is funny because this shirt makes me happy and these shoes make me happy so i wear them!! I don't care what people think as long as I like it that is all that matters. I just had to show you mom..... I was wondering why i got so many complements this day Ha ha!!

Ok i was looking at my pictures and of all the one's where we went to Seattle and i want to share them. Because i really Loved Seattle it was so so much fun and a new adventure! When we where there our coach kind of let us go where ever we want around the city as long as we where not alone. It was tons of fun!!

Hi every one so school is all most over... only got 3 more day left!!! Last night the all of the track team went ice skating... It was so so much fun!!! It was my first time other then out on a pond in the desert... ha ha! And i'm really bad at it... i fell down so many times. I'm so sore to day. But it was so worth it.
We have a track meet on Wednesday but we might not be going because of some rule saying you can't on finals week. I don't know... if we do go i will tell ya how i do. But all around every thing is going great here... can't wait for Christmas!!!

So Volleyball is over... i was really excited for it to be over, but i all really miss it! It's only be 3 days.. ha ha! We won our last game so that was great!!
Now basketball is starting and oh i love to watch it! Melissa play in the game saturday so that was really fun to watch her play. During half time i volunteered to play a ten min game. Baseball and volleyball vs. soccer... ha ha it was really fun! I made a point.. so i accomplished my goal. Don't get much of a brake... i start track on monday. I hope it will be fun!!!

Hey every body!! Me and Mully just got back from FHE and we carved pumpkin. It was so much fun!!! We played basketball for like 2 hours after. And i pretty much beat Mully in 1 on 1 ha ha... well not really!!! But this week and i was so excited for Halloween, but I'm going on the trip... dang.. No that will be fun to. I think we are off Nampa Idaho and Seattle Washington. Oh I hope we do good.... well i will tell you how we do......

Hello every body!!! Ok first thing MOM you need to update your blog!!! If I find time to do it you can too!
Ok to me.... well this week end we went to Oregon. Ah.... and it turned out ok. We played the #1 team in our conference and we got beat in 3 games, but we played really well. Every game was only 2 or 3 points away. We could have beat them so easy!!! Oh... but the trip was really fun. When we were gone every one back in Billings told us that it was snowing like crazy. But to be honest I did not believe them i mean it is only October!!!! but sure enough, we got back and there was like one and a half feet of snow!!!! Ha Ha it was so fun. The first thing me and Melissa did was put on our snow stuff and head out the door!!! It was so fun... it was like the most perfect snow. But it is all most gone now... oh but that is the best kind melts really fast. Now to school. It is going good I have a mid term tomorrow in history... but i feel completely ready for it! I'm so proud of my self. If you knew me in high school you know that i never did home work... to busy doing sports... but now I'm on top of my homework.... i even read when they tell me too!!!! Well most the time.....
OH... i all most forgot......I get to go HOME for the week end!!! ha ha I'm so excited!!! I hope nothing comes up to stop me!!!

Ok…. So many thing happen so fast, I will try to fill you in the best that I can. So I will tell you about Volleyball first. Well so I went to California and it was so fun. My first airplane ride and every thing. Oh our team has been struggling and having some problems. But I think we fix them and we are on the track again. It is a lot of hard work doing volleyball and school, but I think that I’m handling it pretty well. Because all my classes are going great. I gave a speech Wednesday in my public speaking class about my big wonderful family and did very well (if I do so say myself). Ah but I think that is the class I’m going to struggle with the most. It is so hard for me to get up and talk in front of people. But any way just super busy… trying to do every thing I can. In fact i should be studying for a History test i have tomorrow... so i better go... I Love all you guys and Miss you like crazy!!

Oh WOW! Lots of things have happen scenes I last wrote. I have been so super busy. We are finally done with two a days. Woohoo! The team is doing great, we are stating to play together and work as a team. And another good thing is that I’m not getting really home sick. I still really miss every one at home but I guess I just getting more comfortable here. But my really great news of the week is I get to go to California this weekend….. Yes! Let me explain. There are 14 people on our team and only 10 get to travel and I get to go. I was so excited that I get to go. In California we are play in a big tournament and that means lots of games. It is going to be tons of fun. I will let your guys know how we do!

Oh I forgot to tell you what UBUNTU means…. UBUNTU is our theme for this year! It means…. “I am what I am because of who we are.”

Holy Cow people I'm on my own out here in the world! If you do not all ready now I'm playing volleyball at Montana State University in Billings. And oh man we have all ready have had 2 practices and I'm so sore! On Monday is was the hardest practices of my life! But it is hard work but tons of fun! I have been playing lebor, which is back row and all you do is pass and dig the ball. Oh but it is so much fun I love it! But i will Keep all you guys posted on how my games and every thing with school!

Ok this week Mom and I went up to Ira and Jeniel’s house and spent a few days there. It was so much fun. On Wednesday we kind of crashed the Cluff family reunion went to Cherry Hill with them. Holy Cow it was so much fun. The little girls loved it, they liked going down the lazy river. Morgie was so proud that she could do it all by her self.

If you have been to Cherry Hill you know that there is only one tube slide. Well me and Heather we saw lots of little kids going down it so we thought that Mady and Morgie would like it; and we wanted to try it. So we got Mady and Morgie, but when we got there Madison said she didn’t want to. We all got ready to go down and they said that we could not have two people in a tube….so Morgie had to have her own. We stared going down it and I thought Morgie was going to die. It was crazy. It was the scariest moment of my life. After she was ok, shook up a little but ok. I’m so glade that Mady did go too.

Ok this is something that I left out that is hilarious. My friend Joe (he is the one in the picture above) he did that best senior prank ever. He ordered 3000 crickets off of the Internet and let them go in the gym a few hours before graduation. If you don’t know that is where we have graduation. Ha ha it was so funny, they spent like an hour trying to vacuum them all up and still there was a hole bunch of them hoping around during it.

I did it I’m a high school graduate. Woohoo I’m so glad to leave… not, to tell you the truth I had a really hard time at graduation. I think why it was so hard for me is because I’m going to school so far away and I will not get to see everyone very often. My high school years have been the best ever. I loved graduation short sweet and to the point. We sang Welcome to Where Ever You Are; to tell you the truth it was really bad. And my favorite person of the year spoke, Bro Cow. He is the new seminary teacher this year and he is awesome. It was a good graduation.

Well at graduation I was on the back row and there was only one problem with that, you could not see me. I had 6’3 Vance to one side, Carl in front of me, and Ty on the other side. I was just surrounded by tall boys. So mom came to one of the practices and saw that you could not see me. So for graduation to stood on a stool it was really funny it was nice being that tell for a little while.

WoooHooo!! We are the champions… We are the champions! This is my third time in track taking state, but I do think this one we the funniest. Every one on your team ran really well and we would not have won with out every one. As for me I did very well in all my advents. First race the mile…well in this race I ran pretty good and got 11th. The Next day I ran the two-mile and got my best time all year and ended up at 6th place. I was really proud of my self in this race. I had the 11th fastest time going in and ran really well and ended with 6th. My last race was the 4x400 and my relay team got 2nd. We broke the school record. Well I just really had a lot of fun.

Woohoo! This Wednesday we took first at region track. Region is all ways really hard because you have to run more races then at normal track meets. But it was pretty fun. My first race was the two-mile and I got 2nd in it. Then I ran the one-mile and got 5th. My last race of the day was the 4x400 and my team took 1st. Now all we have left is state track on the 16 and 17. Wow that is really soon.

In our religion we are tied for 2nd to last with South Sevier. : ( On Tuesday we play them to see who gets to go to state. So we got to step it up and win.
